2024 Pabst Family Reunion

Friday:

6:00pm: Dinner at Milwaukee Club
Established in 1882, Milwaukee Club is Wisconsin's oldest social club. Captain Pabst was a founding member of the club, which continues to occupy the original clubhouse.

Transportation:
You may drive, walk, or take a taxi to dinner.

Saturday:

9:00am: Tour of Schlitz Archives with John Eastberg
Archives from Schlitz Brewery and the Uihlein family are housed in a private archive facility located at Schlitz Park. John Eastberg will take us on a tour through the facility and share treasured family archives. 

10:00am: Lakefront Brewery Tour
A marketing genius, Captain Pabst started the trend of public brewery tours. Today, Lakefront Brewery continues this legacy with their famous tour. Located in a historic building along the former Beer Line, we'll have the opportunity to learn about beer history while sampling Lakefront's delicious offerings. 
*The tour is 100% accessible and both gluten free and non-alcoholic beverages are available.

12:00pm: Beer Barons Gathering
Milwaukee County Historical Society will host descendants from Milwaukee's beer barons for a private tour and lunch. The Society's building was formerly the Second Ward Savings Bank, also known as the "Brewer's Bank", as it was the preferred financial institution of Milwaukee's beer barons. The current exhibit explores Milwaukee's beer history. There are also opportunities to record oral histories that will be preserved for future generations. Light refreshments will be provided.

5:00pm: Dinner and Tours at Pabst Mansion
A grand evening on the former Grand Avenue! A formal dinner takes place on the Mansion's grounds, with the opportunity to explore the Mansion throughout the evening. Have a drink and toast the Captain and Maria in the place they called home. Cocktail attire recommended.

Transportation:
Buses will leave from Hilton City Center and Brew House Inn & Suites at 8:50am. The buses will be with us throughout the day, then return to the hotels after the Beer Barons Gathering.

In the evening, you may drive, walk, or take a taxi to the Mansion for the evening's activities.

Sunday:

10:00am: Brunch
Before you bid farewell to your family, enjoy a delicious brunch at The Pfister. Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for well over a century. The hotel was home to multiple events hosted by the Pabst Family and today houses Pabst original artwork.
